Responsibilities:
· Coordinate the development of system changes under established methodologies and standards.
· Using well-developed analytical skills to identify and document business requirements.
· Work with end-users to translate business requirements into design solutions.
· Design and program application changes of varying size and complexity.
· Prepare development estimates based on evaluation of requirements, design condiserations and programming experience.
· Prepare test data and develop and execute test cases.
· Work with end-user to complete integration testing.
· Ensure the availability of mission critical applications.
· Work within established policies, standards and methodologies and contribute to the on-going refinement of same.
· Update system documentation as changes occur.
Qualifications:
· A University or College degree/diploma.
· A minimum of 10 years of RPG based programming experience.
· A minimum of 5 years of proven and progressive RPG/ILE programming experience.
· Expert level RPG programming skills, including working knowledge of stored procedures, trigger programs and user-defined functions.
· Experience with activations groups, service programs, binder language and binding directories are essential.
· In-depth knowledge and practical experience with the SEQUEL business intelligence software.
· Solid analysis and project management skills.
· Excellent written and verbal skills.
· In-depth knowledge of SQL, C+ and Visual Basic programming languages.
· Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook and Project).
