Job Details
  • An up coming project in the Stephenville area installing basic Lexmark MFP printers and de-installing the old printer. The project will start the first week of July and go to November. We are installing MFP printers, basically Lexmark printers with an attachment on the top, so most of the printers we are installing are not actually the traditional MFP style printer, but an easy to install all in 1 printer. Each printer will take about 45min to 1 hour to set up and de-install old max. There will also be 2 techs per location if help is needed moving the printers around. With 2 techs you are looking at 2 to 4 hours on site max per site, so easy to juggle your schedule. You get $40 per MFP printer and includes one (1) de-install of the old unit, so it works out to approx. $40+ per hour but it can be done quicker then an hour per unit as you will gain efficiencies. Each tech will receive a very detailed set of set by step instructions for each printer to install

The following day 1 tech is required to return at 9:00am to give a basic orientation of the printers not training. You will basically give about 15min per printer orientation, or what I would do is gather all the people together and do a 15-20 min orientation and remain there for another 15-20 min then leave. If you only have 2 printers you are to be on site for only 30min max and most sites have 2 printers. You will get $45 for the orientation if you are on site 15min or 1 hour. You are not to exceed 1 hour on site for the orientation even if you have over 4 printers. The project kicks off the first week of July and is very consistent until November, over 1000 locations. Most MFP installs will take place between 3-5pm and the next day orientation starts at 9am at the same location. An orientation manual will be provided to each tech.
