Description Summary of Position:
To effectively manage an assigned Postal Code Territory by calling on dental offices, dealers, institutions, dental schools, Denturist, and Dental Laboratories. Generate incremental sales revenue through new users and increased product usage by current users.
RESULTS Sales to quota, as well as other territory objectives mutually established with the Regional Sales Manager.
TERRITORY MANAGEMENT Develop, implement and execute a quarterly business plan based on the following: - Product sales analysis by postal code sector - LiNX utilization - Time/Budget management - Dental office ranking - University, institution and dealer account management - Lead generation: - CE Courses - Study Clubs/Dental Societies/Opinion Leaders - Dealer reps - Referrals - Cold calls
SELLING ABILITY Generate territory sales utilizing the following: - Pre-call planning - LiNX profile - Selling tools - Game plan - Presentation Skills - Utilize PSS - Technique/product knowledge - Business solutions - Follow-up - Insure usage - Clinical training - Cross sale opportunity
COMMUNICATION
- Continually provide timely competitive information and customer feedback to sales management, inside sales, peer group and marketing team - Effectively support company message within the dental community
TEAMWORK
- Share and generate leads with other divisions - Support of regional, national and company sponsored events
INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT
- Provide input and execute Individual Development Plan
POLICY ADMINISTRATION
- Follow company guidelines - Reporting Expectations - weekly expense report, monthly sales activity report, quarterly business plan - Manage expense and demo stock guidelines established by Regional Manager.
Compétences essentielles Required Skills and Qualifications:
. Minimum of two years of proven and documented sales success in a highly competitive environment . University degree; business or related field preferred . Professional, consultative selling skills to include ROI analysis . Ability to manage vast product portfolio . Ability to develop, revise and execute data-based territory management plan . Self motivation demonstrated throughout his/her career. . Ability to speak clearly, fluently and in a compelling manner to both individuals and groups. . Ability to work effectively in a team environment . Computer literacy (Power point, Microsoft Word, Lotus Notes) . Adaptability to changing demands and conditions . Strong organizational & administration skills . Ability to relay information accurately and concisely . Ability to multi-task effectively . Dental Technician diploma and/or prior dental experience are definite assets.
Essential Requirements:
. Drive a car and posses a valid driver's license . Ability to overnight travel (30%) . Be able to climb stairs and ladders unassisted . Possess normal eye-hand co-ordination . Be able to stand for a period of time in excess of 90 minutes . Be able to bend, stoop carry, grasp, kneel, and lift without assistance . Be able to lift a minimum of 30lbs without assistance . Be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions, interpret documents, as well as be able to read, speak, write and understand standard English professional Journals, technical procedures, and regulations . Be able to solve practical problems . Be able to perform basic arithmetic computations (i.e. add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole number, fractions, ratios, percentages, proportions, and decimals) and work with mathematical concepts. . Be able to use phones, PCs, and other business machines, unassisted. . Proper business attire required.
