We are looking for a skilled and experienced Mechanic for our operations in St. John's, Newfoundland.
Our Mechanics are responsible for performing the servicing and repairs on Company vehicles, beyond the scope of basic preventive maintenance. Working under limited supervision, they perform preventative maintenance, run inspections and diagnostic tests, and repair a variety of vehicles and equipment.
Qualifications
- Completion of secondary school and a minimum of two years of experience in automotive / truck, or light or heavy equipment maintenance and repair, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Provincial certification as a Truck Mechanic is essential
- Ability to act upon observations and relate to appropriate Company policies and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently both independently and in a team environment
- Ability to be trained to use a computer
