SUPERINTENDENT - MASS EXCAVATION
Our client is a Construction company based in Lab City that is involved in the heavy civil construction industry. We are seeking the talents of a Superintendent of Mass Excavation for projects of 3 to 4 years duration.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for the supervision and management of a staff of employees including foremen, mass excavation crews and subcontractors as required. The individual(s) will be responsible for the management, direction and the timely completion of jobs while adhering to budget requirements. You will also be responsible for following and enforcing Company policy and procedure as well as completing reports as required as per Company standards
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Leadership experience of a medium to large construction or related organization with specific business acumen for running excavation projects.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must
· CET and / or Engineering degree is preferred
· 10+ years' business experience with excavation related activities
· Bilingualism would be an asset.
