Responsibilities:

Working with the Building Engineering team in our Regina location, the Mechanical CAD Technologist will be responsible for preparation of engineering design drawings and providing technical support for building structures using the latest version of AutoCAD as well as Revit. Applicants will be self-motivated and eager to learn and will possess very good IT skills. Attention to detail and accuracy are required assets. Projects you may be working on may include industrial, educational, institutional, water / wastewater and/or commercial facilities.



Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:
- A diploma from a recognized building technology program (e.g. mechanical technology) is preferred; equivalencies in terms of certificate and/or greater experience will also be considered
- Excellent ability to assess, estimate and organize building and building related projects for CAD production and have a thorough understanding of AutoCAD
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with the design team, suppliers and contractors in the resolution of construction issues
- Experience with Revit a definite asset
