Our Clients is one of the largest media organizations in North America, and they have an immediate requirement for a Translator to join their Ontario location.
The primary focus of this position will be to translate various print advertising materials such as flyers, catalogues, mini-books, signage or any other documents from different clients
Review and monitor outsourced translation work, ensuring accuracy, style and correct terminology are employed
Provide feedback to translators and ensure proper standards are met
Proofread documents for accuracy and consistency
Perform research for integrity of the translation and maintain up-to-date files on the information gathered
Build a glossary in order to keep consistency within the Translation Department
Respond to and direct client inquiries when required
Qualifications
BA in translation or equivalent
3-5 years of experience
Ability to work well under pressure
Ability to effectively prioritize workload to ensure the most urgently required projects are completed first
Experience working in a Mac (OSX) environment
Knowledge of Quark Xpress and InDesign an asset
Salary Expectation: $45,000 - $48,000 + Full Benefits!
