Our client is a major bank and they have an immediate need for a Unix Administrator to join their team for a 6-month contract.
- Administer and monitor all SUN Solaris servers
- Perform Unix system maintenance (patching, updating, securing) and performance tuning
- Troubleshooting and support
MUST Have:
- Unix Solaris v. 10 administration
- Veritas volume manager and cluster services
Other technologies this position will be exposed to:
- Sun Solaris, Windows 2003, IBM Blade servers and Sun hardware, NIS, DNS, LDAP, NFS, Bea Weblogic, Sun One Web server, Citrix on UNIX and Veritas products (Volume Manager, File System, Netbackup, Clustering), MQ messaging, monitoring tools, shell scripting, schedulers (TES).
