SENIOR UNIX ADMINISTRATOR
The incumbent will be responsible for building, testing and implementing business applications/ Infrastructure systems. Understanding of virtualization technology, works independently on medium to complex systems project.
- Perform regular capacity planning
-Provide 3rd level diagnostics support to helpdesk
-Participate as subject Matter expert (SME) on projects and provide work plan estimates
-Lead the install, upgrade and operation of Infrastructure systems
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 3- 5 years of work experience in UNIX Systems Administration
- Extensive Sun Solaris experienc
- Understanding of Solaris (9,10)- must have worked with Solaris 10
- Nice to have Weblogic, Jboss, and Tomcat
- On call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (on rotation)
- Ability to work independently, a team player, meets deadline
