Wireless Services / Application Developer (#18284)
"Develop and evolve the test plans pertaining to the handset client applications as per Company requirements (e.g., MMS, WAP, content download/streaming, Java ME, Video, LBS, etc.); Contribute to the development and evolution of testing methodologies - execution, verification/validation, reporting (e.g. automation, centralized issue management); Contribute to the development and evolution of the processes and procedures required to integrate with multiple functional groups; Review wireless application related issues for severity and recommendation; Assess and prepare test materials relating to new technologies identified as necessary for implementing new service offerings proposed by the Company."
"University degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science/Telecommunications; Excellent understanding of current wireless data/messaging applications, including but not limited to, SMS, WAP, Java ME, MMS, LBS, video/audio streaming, image/audio/video formats; Strong understanding of client/server technologies, web-based languages (e.g., WML, XHTML), TCP/IP and related protocols (e.g., HTTP, UDP, SMTP, POP3); Excellent software programming and troubleshooting techniques and skills (e.g., Java, C, C++); Excellent multitasking skills for participating in concurrent projects in a cross-functional team environment; Knowledge of wireless standards bodies (e.g., CDG, OMA, 3GPP, 3GPP2); Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in the area of technical writing; Experience in working with terminal and/or infrastructure vendors; Desire to learn and work in a continuously fast-changing environment; Well-organized and detailed-oriented person; Self-motivated, challenge-driven individual"
