Description

Janssen-Ortho Inc., a division of Johnson & Johnson is looking for a Professional Hospital Product Specialist for a downtown Toronto territory.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing account specific strategies that are aligned with Janssen-Ortho franchise strategic plans. The Hospital/Account Representative will lead the development and foster on-going strategic relationships that will accelerate growth.
Specific responsibilities will include, Working closely with franchise sales and marketing teams to develop and implement competitive strategies to ensure access, accelerate institutional listings for new products and drive overall business growth; Working collaboratively with the Strategic Business Group & Clinical communications to identify buying process for specific accounts; Developing and maintaining strong relationships with decision makers in key accounts; Driving growth within contracts & agreements.
The successful candidate must be able to navigate within the organization and have the ability to foster teamwork to get results; ability to manage multiple priorities and create effective delivery schedules based on business needs; Demonstrated strong analytical/problem solving skills; able to identify potential issues before they become a crisis and provide solutions to any such issues; experience working on projects across multiple sites, broad geographies, and multiple lines of business; must be a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision / direction.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree is required (Pharmacy, Business Administration or Life Sciences is preferred); MBA is preferred. Demonstrated knowledge in contract/agreements that enhance growth potential and ensure risk mitigation; Two years plus of account or sales management experience in the pharmaceutical, medical devices or other competitive industries such as consumer goods or office products, IT etc; Experience with health care institutions and regional purchasing organizations is desirable. Experience in corporate account , key account and/or account management within or outside of the pharmaceutical/medical device field is a definite asset; Proven track record of leadership, business acumen and management; Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
