Operations Manager (Hotel/Resort)
Subtropical Bermuda!
Our client is a Bermuda based resort with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and a unique, upbeat atmosphere. On their behalf, we are searching for an Operations Manager with at least 5 years of hotel industry experience to join their staff team in Bermuda.
Responsibilities will include:
. Assisting the General Manager in the overall supervision of all departments
. The day to day operations of the resort which includes nearly 100 units, restaurants, fitness center, tennis and water sports/activities.
Requirements:
. A minimum of 5 years of management experience in a hotel/resort environment
. A post secondary degree in a related field would be preferred
. Strong knowledge of MS office applications including Outlook, Excel and Word.
. Experience with and/or ability to quickly learn Great Plains and RDP (accounting and property management software).
. A post secondary degree in a related field is preferred.
. Strong staff leadership and communication skills
. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule and be on-call
This unique career opportunity involves relocating to Bermuda for an initial term of 3 years (renewable subject to work permit approval).
