Financial Controller - Hotel/Resort
BERMUDA
Our client is a Bermuda based resort with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and a unique, upbeat atmosphere. On their behalf we are searching for a detail oriented and dedicated professional to join them in Bermuda as Financial Controller.
Requirements:
. At least 5 years of professional experience, ideally with experience in the hotel/resort industry.
. Experience with or knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains accounting systems and RDP property management software would be beneficial.
Responsibilities will include:
. Overall financial responsibility for the resort including accounting, weekly/monthly payroll, balance sheet and bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting and forecasting, filing of taxes.
. Reviewing financial statements with the General Manager and liaising with the Investors on a regular basis.
. Generating monthly and year-end financial statements for resort operations to departmental level including variance/cost analysis.
. Manage IT systems for Front and Back Office and provide direction, training and support to staff members in use of the property management system ensuring proper procedures are followed.
This unique career opportunity involves relocating to Bermuda for an initial term of 3 years (renewable subject to work permit approval). Due to the international move required, candidates should be highly portable and adaptable, with outside interests that lend themselves to this idyllic living environment.
