FINANCE ANALYST

Location: Ottawa, Ont

Type: Permanent

Job Description:

·         Monitoring and managing the company's daily liquidity position;

·         Preparing wires transfers, letters of credit, drawdown request, etc;

·         Assisting with bank account documentation and administering online banking platforms;

·         Assisting in monthly/quarterly financial reporting and compliance and performance reporting;

·         Performing covenant calculations and preparing compliance certificates;

·         Assisting in the preparation of weekly consolidated cash flow forecasts.

The Finance Analyst will also provide support to the Asset & Corporate Financing function by assisting in the execution of financing activities. Specifically the analyst will participate in the development and validation of financial models and in monitoring credit rating agency relationships.

Requirements:

·         Solid analytical abilities combined with being detail oriented;

·         Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced team environment and to adapt quickly to changing priorities;

·         Excellent communications skills both oral and written;

·         Strong organizational skills, resourcefulness and ability to deal professionally with external stakeholders;

·         Ability to effect and manage change positively.

Qualifications:

·         Accounting designation and/or university degree in business or related field;

·         2 to 3 years of experience in a corporate finance role, experience in a treasury related function is an asset;

·         High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint;
