THE OPPORTUNITY:
Our client, a successful industrial company, seeks to engage an experienced project oriented Controller to manage growth and capital construction products in Saskatchewan.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced CMA, CA OR CGA with significant industry experience and a background managing the financial aspect of capital construction projects.
This position is located in Saskatchewan and offers excellent career growth potential for the right candidate.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
As Controller - Capital Construction Projects - you will plan, forecast, control and report on costs connected with capital construction projects.
In carrying out your responsibilities you will work with project scope, project change, and risk management and you will be involved in process improvement initiatives as they relate to your responsibilities managing project controls on capital construction projects.
You will interface with and resolve issues by working with Financial Planning, Treasury and Legal departments.
You will work on financial projects assigned by senior management.
REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in Commerce or Business Administration is required or similar discipline with a major in the area of Accounting or Finance is preferred.
Accounting designation - CMA, CA or CGA.
Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
Advanced Excel skills.
Experience using SAP software or other major ERP systems.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to motivate and influence people not reporting to this position.
A self-directed individual who can work with minimal supervision
COMPENSATION:
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
