THE OPPORTUNITY:
Our client is looking for a CA, CGA or CMA or student with public
accounting experience - minimum two years experience at the intermediate or
senior level.
Clients range from
local, owner-managed enterprises to large institutional clients. Some of
the industry sectors serviced include manufacturing, retail, financial
institutions, real estate, technology, distribution, not-for-profit
organizations and professional services.
You will work with a diversity of clients in a broad range of industry sectors:
Medium to large, owner managed enterprises and Not-for-profit organizations.
The firm

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete small and medium sized
client engagements for tax related activities for domestic tax matters.
Work closely with a partner as a
senior team member on tax planning for our clients.
Coaching, managing and mentoring
Junior Tax Staff for the preparation of tax returns, conducting and
presentation of tax research and career development.
Developing and implementing
strategies for clients to capitalize on business opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS:
CA, CGA or CMA designation, or near
completion.
At least 3 years' experience in
public accounting with a specialization in tax for a minimum of two years.
At least 2 year of experience at a
senior level in tax.
Extensive understanding of relevant
tax legislation, corporate tax compliance & planning.
Desirable: Completion of the CICA
In-Depth Tax Course (Levels I, II) or currently enrolled in Level II.
COMPENSATION:
Salary commensurate with education and experience. Relocation assistance may be provided
(depending on skills / qualification of candidate).
