Our client is a leader in food processing and packaging industry and is looking for Industrial Engineer for their facility in Saskatoon, SK, Canada.
The ideal candidate will have completed Industrial Engineering degree with a minimum of 3-4 years experience in the manufacturing environment. You would be responsible for optimization of manufacturing capacity, provide support for equipment installation, development of KPIs (key performance indicators), capacity utilization analysis and cost benefit analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop KPI( key performance indicators) for production standards
- Provide problem solving support to improve manufacturing process performance.
- Conduct cost benefit analysis and provide leadership for Six sigma projects.
- Provide support for equipment selection, floor layout, and provide capacity optimization analysis.
Key Requirements:
- 3-4 years experience in Industrial engineering doing time studies
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Well developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in the food industry is an asset.
