Job Description . Responsible for recruiting in Montreal technical and professional
personnel in the engineering and IT industry.
. Will also assist managers, helping them identify job requirements and
creating job descriptions.
. Proactively source candidates from a variety of sources. Establish and
maintain contacts with employment sources.
. Serve as external face of the company to potential employees. Continually
communicate and reinforce the company's brand and culture in the recruiting
. Review resumes of applicants; oversee testing of applicants and background
. Prepare and present periodic reports to senior management on
. Experience in
sourcing, selecting, recruiting, interviewing, and evaluating a variety of
technical and non-technical skill sets
. Experience with high-volume recruiting environments
. Experience in proactive candidate sourcing from multiple sources (i.e.,
Internet, college/university, advertisements, recruiting agencies, etc.)
. Prior experience
in agency is an asset
. Prior experience in finance in a corporate environment is an asset.
. Ability to maintain confidential Company information
. Excellent communication, presentation, time management, decision making,
organizational, and problem solving skills
. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
. Excellent knowledge of recruiting techniques and employment policies and
. Bachelor's degree in IT, business (HR) or related field
. 8 years of experience in IT and/or professional recruiting and HR experience
