Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing estimates/budgets for hard bid, design/build and construction management proposals. Tasks will include quantity take offs, sub trade/supplier tender packages, risk assessment and preliminary schedule estimates. On successful bids, you will join the project team as a Project Coordinator reporting to the Project Manager ensuring smooth transition into construction phase. Coordinator duties include: contract administration, draw preparation, attendance at project meetings, assisting the Project Manager and Site Supervisor to ensure project is on schedule, within budget and meets or exceeds quality expectations.

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

·         Minimum 5 to 10 years in commercial estimating

·         Familiarity and understanding of construction contracts and scheduling and all phases of a construction project

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project, Voloview and/or Autocad and Timberline

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Ability to work independently and as part of the project management team

·         Effective time management and organizational skills

·         Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
