OVERALL ACCOUNTABILITY:
Reduce department?s accounts receivable in accordance with policies and procedures while meeting specific individual and departmental targets while maintaining a high level of customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Meet department?s annual budget by reducing departments total accounts receivables
? Meet individual quarterly top 300 high value account quarterly targets
? Initiate collection calls prior to payment due date
? Invoicing and applying payments
? Responsible for outbound accounts receivable calls to existing customers.
? Receive and resolve all inbound customer calls.
? Responsible for detailed accounts receivable data entry to verify, record, update or process customer applications, invoices, documents, payments, and records for general licensing accounts in accordance with established policies and procedures.
? Manage and maintain customer accounts including all customer contact and correspondence pertaining to existing customer accounts.
? Manage and resolve all customer complaints.
? Review, analyze, and prioritize monthly accounts receivable reports as required.
? Escalate any customer account as required.
? Work with 3rd Party Collections Agency to ensure the successful collection of customer accounts including: responding to inquiries regarding account information, preparing reports, and reconciling customer payments received.
? Work to support the Licensing Legal Clerk on requirements for accounts identified for legal pursuit.
? Participation in team and departmental projects and meetings.
? Other duties as requiredSKILLS:
? Accounts Receivable/Collection experience 1+ year(s)
? Basic accounting skills with an aptitude for figures
? Strong communication skills - written and oral
? Conflict resolution skills
? Customer service/care experience 1+ year(s)
? Excellent organizational and time management skills
? Computer literacy, required: MS Word & Excel, Preferred: SOLO, Lotus Notes
? Knowledge of tariffs, licensing procedures, and copyright an asset.
