SENIOR BILINGUAL CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
$46,000 to $49,000 salary
Permanent Position - full time

Our long established client is currently hiring a talented Senior Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join their growing team. The CSR is part of a team responsible for the day to day support of the business unit. You will build relationships with business units, drive process improvements, guide processes and provide world class customer service.

The responsibilities of the desired candidate will include:

  • Processing incoming orders via telephone and fax
  • Inputting order details accurately into a complex business system (SAP)
  • Researching customer requests and following-up in a timely manner
  • Routinely responding to inquires from customers regarding product availability & status, pricing, shipping, invoices, credits, returns, literature requests, proof of deliveries, terms of contracts, policies & procedures, order status, current marketing promotions
  • Provide order management support for all types of orders (including EDI, and fax)
  • Build strong relationships with select accounts by working collaboratively with them to identify value added services and proactively address issues
  • Work with business team to understand customer needs and provide solutions to help streamline operations
  • Support customer segmentation as applicable
  • Assist with balancing workload of CSRs in business segments
  • Serve as functional representative on operational process improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will meet the following standards and requirements

  • Bilingual preferred (fluent in French and English)
  • 3 to 5 years in the customer service field
  • Strong analytical and computer skills (particularly spreadsheet and reporting programs)
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Customer focused and detail oriented
  • Ability to contribute as a leader and as a team player
