Position Specifics
This is a GREAT role if you:
? 1+ year(s) experience as a retail-related Loss Prevention Investigator (or equivalent) preferred
? Competent in the use of retail CCTV systems
? Understanding of external theft surveillance and apprehension methodologies
? Excellent analytical skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
? Law and Security Diploma or equivalent (Preferred, but not mandatory)
? Valid Security License as required by the Province
This key role will see you implement and enforce Home Depot?s ?shrink reduction? plan to reduce the unnecessary loss of store merchandise. This will involve detaining and interviewing persons apprehended for shoplifting in accordance with local laws and company procedures, and checking physical security of The Home Depot facilities to prevent and deter theft/fraudulent activity.

At least one year of experience as a retail-related Asset Protection Specialist would be ideal, and you must be competent in the use of retail CCTV systems. A strong understanding of external theft surveillance and apprehension methodologies would help you excel in this role.
