Are you an experienced Electrical Superintendent currently working for a M&E Contractor or General Contractor in North America that you feel are not capitalizing on your full potential?

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join one of the leading International Self performing general contractors in North America. My client is a leader in the industry and has built an outstanding reputation of strength, integrity, "know-how?? and readiness to get the job done. With an extensive project list ranging in large-scale institutional, commercial and government focused projects, they have proven to impress and set the standard time and time again.
Responsibilities:
10 plus years experience working with high and medium voltage equipment and cables, the installation of transmission/collection lines and substation construction. Previous experience in a supervisory of direct reports and/or subcontractors is required.

Be knowledgeable of current injection, Hi-pot, capacitance discharge, contact resistance, Megger, TTR, Doble, and other methods of cable and equipment testing for high and medium voltages.
???X Possess working knowledge of the latest NESC, NEC, IEEE, NEMA, and OSHA codes and standards and industry safety requirements and methods.
???X Gain and maintain a basic understanding of Wind Turbine construction in order to properly apply code requirements and monitor installation methods.
???X Computer skills in the use of Word, Excel, and e-mail programs in order to effectively interact with team members.
???X Possess a working knowledge of scheduling methodology with the ability to communicate this information verbally and in written form.
???X Coordinate, plan and supervise project field activities with foremen, assistant superintendents, contractors and/or craft activities
???X Conduct performance evaluations of foremen, general foremen, and assistant superintendents
???X Mentor and manage team members, time management, and developing client relationships
???X Foster strong teamwork orientation and be a resource for valuing and promoting diversity
???X Provide proactive and intentional leadership in developing the safety culture on the project site
???X Build strong cross-cultural relationships and influence others internally and externally at all levels of the organization and resolve cross-cultural conflict in a culturally appropriate way
???X Proficient in all types of termination and splicing for all types of high and medium voltage cables.
???X Proficient in the installation, testing, acceptance, maintenance, and repair of high and medium voltage cables.
