Senior Environmental Professional (#26192)

Our client is a recognized global leader in Environmental Engineering. With their continued diversified growth and success, they now have an opening for a senior environmental professional in the Halifax, NS office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical guidance to staff and clientele, mentoring and coaching, developing proposals and project work plans, reviewing reports and furthering the business with existing and new clientele.

They are looking for individuals who have experience in the following sectors:

Waste Management, Ecological Impact Assessments or Hydrogeology with strong experience in either of these areas in addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills. They are looking for highly motivated individuals with exceptional technical, client service and people skills to join the team.

Skills & Abilities

??? Minimum 12 years experience;
??? Desire to further develop new clientele;
??? Experience in Waste Management OR EIA OR Hydrogeology is essential;
??? Project Management experience
??? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
??? Excellent organizational abilities
??? Strong attention to detail and accuracy
??? Desire and ability to mentor and train junior staff

Education & Qualifications

??? Engineering, geoscientist or environmental science degree
??? A Masters degree is preferred
??? Valid drivers license
??? Professional status or eligibility for professional status with APENS/APGNS
