Civil Industrial Site Superintendent
Our client is a heavy civil / industrial contractor based in the lower mainland. Most of their projects are in bridge construction or water / waste water treatment plants throughout Western Canada.
The Role:
Our client seeks an experienced Civil Superintendent to join their local team in Greater Vancouver. This is a first of a kind opportunity with our client, so we are looking for a seasoned professional with experience in r aspects of civil construction such as water treatment, bridge structures and roads. The successful candidate must be organized, with the ability to work in a time sensitive environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The Candidate:
Applicants for this role must have the following:
- 10+ years in Superintendent role in civil construction
- Experience in either all/or some of the following projects: Water treatment, Hydro, and or tunnel work as well as work in civil infrastructure
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written; ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships
- Ability to develop and mentor quality staff for the team; take corrective action when necessary
- Experience in Business Development
- Ability to travel within BC
