This position provides administrative services support to financial services agents assisting them to obtain licenses or contracts.
Responsibilities:
· Provide administrative support to agents, co-workers & senior management
· Review licensing applications and ensure all documentations are attached
· Review NRD submissions online thoroughly
· Liaison between agents, regulators and corporate office
· Order financial and employment reports for due diligence
· Order required Errors and Omission Reports
· Answer telephone calls & email inquiries, providing information for agents, regulators & peers
· Draft standard and non-standard correspondence (memo/letters/reports)
· Fax, photocopy, file and scan documents
· Assist with special projects as required
· Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
· Proficient knowledge of Microsoft software: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point & Access
· Post secondary education preferred
· Minimum of 2-3 years working experience in the Financial Services Industry preferred
· Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written format
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Excellent customer service skills; ability to maintain composure when confronted on issues
· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment (within tight deadlines)
· Takes initiative, must be a self starter
· Ability to develop and build on relationships with internal and external customers
· Bilingual (French/English) would be an asset
