Job Description:
Our client, a dynamic mid-sized law firm, is seeking senior business law lawyer with a portable practice to join their downtown Calgary office. The ideal candidate will have strong ties in the community, excellent client development skills and progressive leadership abilities to assist in shaping the culture of the firm's growing team. The successful candidate will have an established practice in one or more of the areas of:

. Business/asset acquisition and divestitures and deal structuring;
. Securities law, equity financing, stock exchange listing and regulatory compliance;
. Oil & gas based transactions, contract review and title options;
. Secured and lending transactions and debt financings;
. Shareholder agreements, joint ventures, limited partnerships and franchising;
. Intellectual property, licensing and trademarks;
. Contractual drafting, employment, confidentiality and unique agreements; and
. General corporate law, corporate reorganizations and minute book maintenance
