Outbound Financial Service Representative, Telephone Banking
Business Unit Description: Retail Markets provides a full range of financial products and services to almost 11 million personal, business and wealth clients, as well as investment management services globally to retail and institutional clients.
CIBC Retail Markets has a broad distribution network serving clients through close to 1,100 branches, as well as CIBC Wood Gundy offices and President's Choice Financial in-store pavilions. Clients also have 24/7 access to telephone banking, online and mobile banking and online brokerage, as well as to Canada's second largest ABM network.
Relevant Job Criteria: This position is located in Toronto, Ontario and is scheduled to commence July 17, 2012.

We are currently recruiting Financial Service Representatives (FSR) to join our Toronto Customer Contact Centre. In this role, you will be empowered through phone calls to our clients, to provide information to existing and potential customers regarding CIBC's full range of products and services. Motivated by targets and results, you will actively promote and sell products and services that matter to our customers.
Requirements: - Minimum of 1 years of customer service experience is required - Strong sales intuition - Banking / financial institution experience will be considered an asset - Superior verbal communication and interpersonal skills - Motivated by targets and achieving results - Strong accountability and confidence - Demonstrated ability to multi-task within an ever-changing environment - Intermediate level of computer literacy, primarily within a Windows-based environment - Flexibility to work within the operating hours of noon to midnight on weekdays and day shifts on Saturdays.
To compensate you for your contribution to the Toronto Customer Contact Centre's overall business goals, CIBC offers:
- Starting base salary of $37,000 with an incentive plan to reward sales contributions - An excellent benefits package, including an Employee Share Purchase Plan - The opportunity to start a long-term career with one of Canada's largest employers
