Senior Financial Services Representative (Investment) - King and Wellington
Business Unit Description: Retail Markets provides a full range of financial products and services to almost 11 million personal, business and wealth clients, as well as investment management services globally to retail and institutional clients.
CIBC Retail Markets has a broad distribution network serving clients through close to 1,100 branches, as well as CIBC Wood Gundy offices and President's Choice Financial in-store pavilions. Clients also have 24/7 access to telephone banking, online and mobile banking and online brokerage, as well as to Canada's second largest ABM network.
Relevant Job Criteria: - Full Time: 37.5 hrs/week. - Work days: Tuesday to Saturday. - Must be available to work evenings and weekends (Saturday and Sunday).

You're a results-oriented team player who is able to understand client needs and sell a wide range of products to clients with more complex personal and small business needs. Continuously exceeding client expectations, you build lasting client relationships, and always take the initiative to assess their needs and offer the right financial solutions. Your sales experience and ability to sell is vital to promote products and services in a highly competitive market.
Key Accountabilities/Activities: 1. Provide an exceptional experience for personal and small business clients with more complex investment and credit needs through Financial Health Check conversations. 2. Respond to walk-in clients requests, including referrals regarding personal and small business needs. 3. Influence high opportunity clients to consolidate financial services with CIBC, and make referrals to colleagues as appropriate. 4. Develop and execute long term and weekly sales plans to consolidate and retain existing business and attract new business. 5. Follow up on leads and referrals by booking meetings with clients to address needs and provide appropriate solutions to any issues. 6. Accurately capture and validate client information, process and authorize transactions, obtain authorization when needed and balance entries. 7. Act as Branch Manager during his/her absences, as required.

Requirements: CIFC (Canadian Investment Funds or Investment Funds Canada) or Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is required by twelve months from start date
