Applications Specialist - Processing Plant (#222094)Our client, a leading reseller of design software is searching for an Applications Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of the AutoCAD, SolidWorks or other applicable design software packages along with the ability to train and present technical information in the Processing Plant industry. Training and implementation of new software is an essential component of a company's success. This client facing role gives you the opportunity to solve problems and provide excellent solutions in order to move their business to the next level. Duties: . Demonstration, training, installation and configuration of software in client locations . Technical support by phone, email, web and on-site . Continuous learning to ensure current technical knowledge and a high level of expertise in the software . Provide a high level of customer service to enhance the customer experience and satisfaction . Trouble shoot by analyzing, testing and diagnosing problems . Work within a team to share technical knowledge and skill sets . Develop and maintain strong relationships with sales team to ensure successful implementation and client satisfaction both pre and post sales Must have qualifications: . Technical Degree - Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems . Strong understanding of Plant processes and data management terms . Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Bentley AutoPLANT, CADWorx etc. . Presentation and technical training experience . Valid Ontario Drivers License and vehicle Nice to have qualifications: . Multi tasking and prioritizing skills - ability to handle multiple project simultaneously . Flexible and adaptable to ever-changing requirements . Detial oriented . Initiative and self motivation .
