Senior Financial Services Representative (Small Business) - 8th and Circle

Business Unit Description:
Retail Markets provides a full range of financial products and services to almost 11 million personal, business and wealth clients, as well as investment management services globally to retail and institutional clients.

CIBC Retail Markets has a broad distribution network serving clients through close to 1,100 branches, as well as CIBC Wood Gundy offices and President's Choice Financial in-store pavilions. Clients also have 24/7 access to telephone banking, online and mobile banking and online brokerage, as well as to Canada's second largest ABM network.


Relevant Job Criteria:
- Full Time: 37.5 hrs/week.
- Work days: Monday to Saturday.

You're a results-oriented team player who is able to understand Small Business and Personal client needs and sell a wide range of products to clients with small business and personal needs. Continuously exceeding client expectations, you build lasting client relationships, and always take the initiative to assess their needs and offer the right financial solutions. Your Small Business knowledge and sales experience along with your ability to identify the right solutions is vital to promote products and services in a highly competitive market.

Key Accountabilities/Activities:
1. Provide an exceptional experience to unmanaged clients by providing small business and personal solutions to meet their financial goals through Financial Health Check conversations.
2. Respond to walk-in clients requests, including referrals regarding small business and personal needs.
3. Influence clients to consolidate financial services with CIBC, and provide appropriate solutions to any issues.
4. Develop and execute long term and weekly sales plans to consolidate and retain existing business and attract new business.
5. Proactively call and book appointments with clients based on leads and referrals to ensure client needs are met.
6. Identify and meet the immediate basic needs of small business and personal clients and make referrals to colleagues when appropriate.
7. Process transactions and balance entries daily.
8. Accurately capture and validate client information completing required documentation and authorize transactions.
9.Act as Branch Manager during his/her absences, as required.

Requirements:
CIFC (Canadian Investment Funds or Investment Funds Canada) or Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is required by twelve months from start date
