Senior Product Manager
Business Unit Description: Retail Markets provides a full range of financial products and services to almost 11 million personal, business and wealth clients, as well as investment management services globally to retail and institutional clients. With approximately 28,000 employees, CIBC Retail Markets has a broad distribution network serving clients through more than 1,060 branches, as well as CIBC Wood Gundy offices and President's Choice Financial in-store pavilions. Clients also have 24/7 access to telephone banking, online banking and online brokerage, as well as to Canada's second largest ABM network.
The Business Banking Products team is responsible for the Business Deposits and Cash Management products within Retail Markets. We focus on Small Business, Mid-Market and Large Corporate client groups who would benefit from CIBC's Business products and services. Specifically, Cash Management products provide solutions for receivables, payables and treasury needs of these clients. Our products and services are key drivers of customer retention. Business Banking Products makes a significant revenue contribution to all segments and is a major source of stable, low cost funds to CIBC.

Job Overview: Key Accountabilities / Activities: Supports the Director, Cash Management, in achieving business objectives including: . Contributing to the development of a strategic roadmap for several key initiative areas such as the Business Payments Strategy, and delivering on the Canadian Cash Management strategy . Executing strategies and initiatives and putting processes into action that will ensure that the long term Cash Management business is successful. . Participate in and ensure the delivery of product initiatives . Provide input and make reccomendations on product opportunity assessment . Focus on maximizing market share and profitability of assigned product portfolio . Build relationships/partnerships across Retail Markets with various product and segment groups . Demonstrate accountability by delivering on promises and supporting partners . Partner with the technology, communication and project delivery teams . Assist in the development and implementation of solutions that cover the needs of multiple partners
Requirements: KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: . Experience in Retail Financial Services . Understanding of business casing and planning principles . Influencing and leadership skills sufficient to operate in a cross functional matrix environment . Preferably Cash Management experience . Passion for variety: supports the management of a portfolio of product initiatives that range from strategic to regulatory to tactical . Team player with the ability to adapt and be flexible in a changing environment based on the needs of the business . Deadline and results oriented . Presentation skills sufficient to present to an executive audience . Working knowledge of MS Powerpoint and Excel
Education and Accreditation . Preferred - University Degree - Bachelor degree in Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing
