Piping Designer, Intermediate (#219963)Our client is seeking a Intermediate Piping Designer experienced in heavy oil and gas processing facility / gathering system design:
Prime Skills / Attributes:

-Must be multi-task oriented
Main Duties:
-Role reports to Design / Drafting Manager
-Expected to complete complex piping designs utilizing current 3D CAD piping software within a project team environment
-Will provide independent / self-directed project support to project teams and assist in maintaining project schedules
-Will provide leadership and mentoring to junior staff
-Help develop a qualified design group while working to solve complex design issues
-Provide expertise in the preparation and development of construction design drawings for heavy oil and gas processing facilities / gathering systems
-Maintain preliminary and detailed design phases of various projects
-Manage the efficient design and execution of projects
-Provide clients with expertise in process piping design
-Participate in project design problem solving
-Experience working on $1M to $3M projects
-Ability to see a project through from start to finish
Qualifications:
-Graduation from a recognized technical institute
-Enjoy active, fast paced work environments
-Minimum ten years experience in the petroleum or petrochemical industries
-Be commited to team play while possessing effective writing and verbal communication skills
