Bulk Materials Handling Designer (#241996)Bulk Materials Handling Designer -Development of 3D model as well as extraction of 2D general arrangement drawings from the model; -Coordination of site and Materials Handling layout with the work of other engineering disciplines; -Design reviews as well as internal and vendor drawing review; -Maintenance and revision of department standards and procedures. Qualifications: -Technical college graduation or equivalent or a minimum of 12 years relevant experience in pertinent Mining, Mineral Processing and Materials Handling equipment; -Thorough knowledge of 2D & 3D AutoCAD or equivalent drafting procedures and programs for engineering design; -Knowledgeable in the design of Mining, Heavy Mechanical, Material Handling and Metallurgical Plant equipment for wet and dry processes; -Solid knowledge of applicable multi-disciplinary engineering standards, codes and requirements; -Excellent written and verbal communication in English; -3D SmartPlant (or other plant design software) experience is an advantage.
