(RTV) Return to Vendor Associate

Position Purpose: RTV Associates work as part of the receiving team who have key responsibilities to enter and track merchandise that for various reasons will be returned to vendors. At times, they may also be required to unload merchandise from carriers and check the quantity and quality of merchandise. In addition they may be required to RGR/DGR and enter information about incoming merchandise into the stores? computer system. A successful RTV Associate must have a high level of work commitment, attention to detail and the ability to learn and follow procedures.
Position Responsibilities: We're looking for the type of associates who can tap into their inner orange by:
? Separating merchandise brought to the RTV area into defective and non-defective categories.
? Returning non-defective merchandise to the departments.
? Entering RTV information into the computer tracking system, print RTV labels and attach to merchandise.
? Obtaining a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number from the vendor and prepare RTVs using procedural guidelines.
? Making any special shipping arrangements.
? Coordinating reimbursement for labour costs on defective installed merchandise with the vendor.
? Obtaining the Receiving Supervisor?s approval of all RTV paperwork.
? Following standard operating procedure (SOP) for all merchandise to be destroyed.
