| Description |
This role is a 6 month contract for a strong java programmer. Its in the financial district downtown, and $35-50/hr pay rate is the range.
Management of the build process, responsible to own all aspects of the build/release process across all products, including: deploying code, schema, and configuration changes in development, staging, and production environments, Facilitate or participate in the process of troubleshooting and resolving production technical issues.
Experience: Minimum - two years experience as a developer responsible for the configuration of complex development environments. Progressive experience in Information Services, one year experience in complex implementations.
Experience in project development using a system development life cycle methodology.
Technical Skills: Good knowledge developing Java/J2EE applications with SWT and Hibernate
In-depth understanding of source code management, with practical experience on source code management systems such as Subversion, GIT experience is a plus
Good working knowledge of Java/J2EE technologies including SWT, Hibernate, Spring, EJB.
Experience with relational database architectures and MySQL . Working knowledge of Unix Shell scripting is a plus.
Experience in a multi-platform development environment.

Education requirement: Minimum - four year College diploma with a major in computer science, Masters degree preferred.
