Senior Environmental Engineer/ Project Manager (#242290)

Our client is a medium-sized Environmental Engineering Consultant with a main focus on Contaminated Land Remediation and Brownfield development. They work alongside many of the major Oil, Gas and Petrochemical organizations across Canada, providing thorough project management and technical skills to the remediation process.

Due to some successes with major contracts, the client is looking to expand it's division in Ottawa. The opportunity has arisen for an experienced, Senior Environmental Professional to join their team. In order to be successful in this role, you will be a degree qualified Environmental Engineer or Scientist. You will bring a minimum of 10 years experience to the table and will have your P.Eng or P.Geo designation.

You will be responsible for a team of up to 6 engineers and technicians and you will deal with technical project issues, as well as being a key contact for existing clients. Business Development is expected, so an interest and keen desire to develop relationships with clients is key. There is a mandate to grow the branch and assist the Branch Manager and Executive team in their search for new talent.

A background having worked alongside petrochemical organizations or consulting teams would be a distinct advantage.
