Bilingual Customer Service Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Answering incoming calls from both a queue and direct line
  • Handling inquiries and complaints
  • Entering faxed, e-mailed and called in orders into computer
  • Following-up on orders to ensure successful deliveries
  • Expediting deliveries with Inventory Control
  • Preparing Returns Good Authorization Forms
  • Preparing credits where necessary
  • Order tracking and tracing
  • Handling short, late and damaged shipments
  • Keeping all filing current
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure successful order completion
  • Occasionally interpreting for Accounts Receivable Representatives
  • Other duties as necessary

The ideal candidate must have:

  • A post-secondary education or equivalent experience
  • Minimum  2-3 years' experience in customer service/order desk
  • Must be fluently bilingual in English and French, both oral and written
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good attitude
  • Prompt, reliable, friendly
  • Aptitude for technical jargon would be an asset
