Position Specifics

Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Senior Manager, Procurement will be responsible for sourcing, assessing and negotiating and multiple non merchandising categories of indirect goods and services within their span of control with little or no supervision. The Manager will be held accountable for specific goals and objectives in support of the overall departmental metrics and will need to closely coordinate with business areas to identify sourcing needs and opportunities for each category. The Manager is responsible for evaluating potential suppliers, negotiating contracts with suppliers, managing the contracts, tracking compliance with contracts and measuring supplier performance. 
This is a GREAT role if you:
? Have a college degree in business or other related area or equivalent years of experience.
? Have 5-10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, competitive price analysis, supplier relationship management and performance.
? Have broad-based sourcing experience with multiple categories of indirect goods and services.
? have deep experience in managing sourcing/procurement activities CPM certification preferred.
? Have knowledge of sourcing best practices including reverse auctions, on-line bidding, supplier performance score-carding.
? Have ability to solicit cooperation and function as a team member.
? Have ability to interact in a cross-functional environment with all levels of management.
? have strong written and verbal communications skills, strong presentation skills; experience in building partnerships; strong negotiation skills (internal and external); research and data analysis; strategic decision making; conflict resolution; effective time and work management, benchmarking
? Have communication approaches and mechanisms; complex RFP and/or RFQ preparation and analysis; contracts; sourcing policies and procedures; high level Microsoft Office applications; benchmarking and market research, strategic sourcing best practices, supplier management; performance measurement monitoring
? Are organized; professional; self-starter; team player, persuasive, customer service oriented
? Have SAP, Leadership and Project Management experience.
