Position Specifics


This is a GREAT role if you:

  • Have previous category management, purchasing or buying experience

  • Are very analytical and detail-oriented

  • Excel in a fast-paced, demanding environment

    • This senior corporate role is essential to Home Depot?s success. You will analyze sales data to determine what products sold and what products were left on the shelves, while keeping track of industry wide trends, consumer data and the competitive landscape to ensure Home Depot customer?s have the best products, choice and value. You will then keep track of vendor performance to ensure consistency and/or improvement.

    The ability to thrive under pressure and a strong attention to detail will ensure your success in this role. You must also have 5-7 years of relevant merchant, purchasing or buyer experience, strong negotiation skills and undeniable enthusiasm and energy.
