Applications Engineer (#242192)Application Engineer Chimo Water & Wastewater Services Due to growth, our client is actively recruiting for a business savvy Application Engineer to support CHIMO Water and Wastewater. This position is based in Edmonton. Reporting to the Operations Manager of CHIMO, you will ensure business objectives are achieved as planned. You will focus on designing, engineering, estimating, and marketing water and wastewater purification systems. Description: . Conducts formal water and wastewater RFQ evaluations. . Develop scope of supply details and prepare technical proposals. . Collaborates with various departments, from Estimating to Procurement, Sales, Marketing, Design Engineering and/or Project Management to market the water and wastewater purification systems. . Responds to budgetary quote requests and new sales inquiries. . Facilitates environmental surveys and generate assessment reports. . Assists in identifying new sales opportunities, and support sales efforts through client interaction (sales calls, technical presentations, bid clarification meetings, etc.) . Keeps abreast of new technological and legislative changes. . Travels domestically or internationally as required. Qualifications: . B. Sc. degree with a Professional Engineer designation. . 6+ years of progressively responsible experience with a business process focus. . Proficiency in computers and software application usage (AutoCAD Inventor, MS Office). . In depth water & wastewater engineering and/or design experience. . Knowledge of environmental legislation. . Negotiation skills. . Strong time management and organizational skills. . Strong analytical and problem solving skills. . Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills. . Valid passport, driver's license and clean driving abstract. Salary / Wages Dependant on experience.
