Marketing Analyst (#242578)
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Marketing Analyst will be responsible for conducting a market watch on international competitor rates and feeding information to the Pricing Manager. Probably the most technical aspect of this role is developing the firm's base spreadsheet model that will provide a full analysis of the current market and rates.
. Gather information on competitor pricing in roaming services from multiple sources
. Perform initial analysis and present to Pricing Analyst
. Gather and perform SWOT on competitors
. Maintain watching brief on competitors, pricing changes
. Gather data and information on target customer segment (Roamers/Travellers)
. Synthesize and structure the information and perform analysis to determine size of market, traveller origination by country, traveller destination.
. Create country traveller (incoming/outgoing) and inbound/outbound roaming reference spreadsheet/model to be used for market opportunity review
Education and Experience:
. Educated to degree level
. Needs to have 3 years' experience in competitor pricing research and analysis in mobile telecoms, and understanding of travel market
Strong Analysis Skills (Must Have)
