Bilingual Customer Service Representative

One of our top clients in Mississauga is looking for an exceptional Customer Service Representative who can fluently speak and write in French and English. The perfect candidate will be responsible for increasing sales by maximizing upselling opportunities to our Quebec accounts.
Key Role Responsibilities:
- Enters customer orders, quotes pricing, confirms delivery date, follows up and keeps customers informed on back orders.- Responds promptly to customer inquiries such as availability of product, status of deliveries, product and container returns and miscellaneous other queries
- Enters all incidents in the Corrective Action Request database and follows the procedure to ensure customers obtain a suitable and timely response
- Processes and clears credits and debits in a timely manner
- Responds to the sales representatives inquiries and keeps him/her informed on the status of the day to day business and maintains accurate account information
- Refers customers to the appropriate department or personnel for specific or technical information
- Performs various suggestive selling activities to offer, promote and sell services and products
Required Experience/Competencies/Education:
- High School Diploma obtained
- 2-5 years in a customer service role within a manufacturing/order processing environment
- Bilingualism (English-French) for this position is required
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skill combined with strong time management and organizational skills. Must be able to interact with tact and diplomacy throughout all levels of the organization
- Professional, confidential manner; excellent interpersonal skills combined with demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork
Must be interested in learning and understanding the business issues in order to maximize personal effectiveness
