    Job Description

    Position Summary
    The Supply Chain Analyst helps our Category Management teams introduce exciting new products while maintaining and developing our existing product lines, to ensure that we successfully respond to the evolving needs of our customers. A Supply Chain Analyst is primarily accountable to manage the Forecasting and Replenishment of a specific product line within the Canadian Tire assortment.
    Prior to beginning the position, the SCA's will receive an extensive 3 week education and training program that provides participants with an opportunity to gain exposure to key components of Canadian Tire's Supply Chain. The knowledge and skills acquired through participation in the SCA training and ongoing support provided by the team at Canadian Tire will help the Supply Chain Analyst to make the right business decisions while on the job to best serve our customers.
    Responsibilities
    To excel as a Supply Chain Analyst, you'll be an innovative leader in managing relationships with suppliers from North America and offshore by planning demand cycles and smoothing channel operations to manage the flow of inventory. You will work closely with several cross functional groups within the Canadian Tire to ensure timely flow of goods from Suppliers, into our Distribution Centres and out to stores.
    As a Supply Chain Analyst you will be accountable to improve key metrics in your line such as Inventory Management, Forecast Accuracy, and Service Level to our stores.

    Qualifications

    Our best supply chain analysts are university graduates in business, engineering, or commerce with excellent problem-solving skills, and can model processes to determine the financial implications of alternatives. They're also tactful negotiators who work collaboratively with category management teams and other business units to deliver tangible business results. The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization is essential.
