Our client is an expanding consulting firm headquartered in Ontario with nationwide projects is looking for a Building Science Engineer to complement their operations for their Vancouver, BC. branch. Capabilities: Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards. In depth knowledge of Construction Systems and Assemblies. Experience in Failure Investigation. Extensive knowledge of construction and contract administration. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Detail Oriented, effective time management. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Manage projects from conceptual design to final completion Site Investigation and evaluation of existing building and industrial projects Preparation of financial studies / life cycle costing for buildings Formulate restoration programs and recommend the project concept to the client Contract administration and construction review while implementing restoration work. Must have a Degree in Civil Engineering licensed to practice in the Province of BC. Need minimum 10 years experience in Building Science Consulting. Must be good at business development.
