POSITION: Sr. Manager, Commercial Training and Development
LOCATION: Toronto, ON
Our client, a leader in research, development, and commercialization of pharmaceuticals, is looking to add a dynamic and motivated individual to their team.
In charge of commercial training across all Business Units, including new hire training, national sales meetings, new product launches, selling skills training and disease/product training
Work collaboratively with Sales and Marketing leadership in the development and execution of training initiatives that support the Brand Plan of Action
Develop and implement training programs for the Commercial organization and additional affiliated employees as needed
Conduct needs assessments, identifying targeted participant characteristics, and soliciting cross-functional feedback before finalizing design and strategy
Offers and implement solutions for bridging gaps between current organizational capabilities and needs
Partners with departments, subject matter experts and key stakeholders to identify training needs, improve training solutions and lead change initiative implementation
Partner with key stakeholders to ensure curriculum is current, effective, engaging, and complies with regulatory guidelines
BA/BS Required, MBA a plus or equivalent experience
Pharmaceutical and/or bio-pharmaceutical experience, minimum of eight years
Strong leadership, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to align cross-functionally and work with at least three different therapeutic business units and a proven track record
Experience in directing the design, development, assessment, and ongoing management of specialty training, continuing education and new hire training programs
Sales Management and Sales Trainer experience
Excellent written communication skills, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills
Previous vendor selection and management experience
