Required versatile candidate to work for downtown law firm with great reputation.    Candidate must be able to hit the ground running.   Must have great attention to detail and excellent word processing skills and be able to think on your feet.    Duties will include handling mail - in-coming and out-going, document preparation, transcription and looking after lawyer's calendar with respect to client appointments, court applications and trials.   Must be able to schedule Examinations and JDRs.   Also need to be able to deal with registries, conduct searches and liaise with assistants, opposing counsel and clients.     Must have familiarity with litigation precedents and procedures as well as lease agreements.   Ideal candidate will be versed in many areas of law, including litigation, conveyancing, corporate, wills and estates and be flexible, able and willing to float from one position to another.   Proper candidate will be dedicated to providing quality service to clients and consistently meet and exceed expectations of lawyer, have excellent written and oral communication skills and good interpersonal skills with ability to remain productive within time-sensitive and fast-paced environment, therefore, must possess excellent organizational and time-management skills and be able to establish priorities, multi-task and work independently under minimal supervision.
