Structural Engineering Manager - Industrial (#264034)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day

Salary: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 Yearly for 40 hours per week, Mileage Paid, Medical Benefits, Dental Benefits, Life Insurance Benefits, Group Insurance Benefits, RRSP Benefits, Vision Care Benefits

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Calgary, Alberta (1 vacancy)

Education: Completion of university

Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association

Experience: 5 years or more

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Area of Specialization: Structural

Construction Specialization: Industrial, commercial and institutional

Work Setting: Engineering consulting company

Project and Personnel Management Skills: Manage research projects, Financial or budget management, Multidisciplinary projects co-ordination, Preparing or evaluating technical proposals, Staff training and development, supervise other technical personnel

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking

Transportation/Travel Information: Own vehicle, Willing to travel, Travel expenses paid by employer, Own transportation, Valid driver's license

Ability to Supervise: 10 people or less

Additional Skills/Knowledge/Expertise: Operate computer-assisted design systems (CAD)
