As a colleague in one of our stores, you will have an immediate impact on sales and customer satisfaction.
Every day, as part of your duties, you will deal with many customers, each with different needs and often very busy lives. We will provide world-class training and ongoing support that will enable you to respond to these customers in a friendly and courteous manner.

Our cashiers help customers complete their shopping experience by processing customer orders, ensuring that items are bagged properly and finalizing the customer's choice of payment. If you love meeting people, working with numbers and providing quick and efficient customer service, the Front-End department is for you.

Part Time Cashier

Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Scan and pack customer orders quickly and correctly.
- Communicate with customer, supervisor, front-end team members.
- Load bags into shopping cart neatly and carefully, if required.
- Maintain clean appearance of front end and check out area at all times.
- Act responsibly and in such a way as to ensure the safety of our customers, fellow employees and yourself.
- Familiar with store layout and product knowledge (i.e. weekly specials, product codes, etc).
- Return left behind product promptly, if required.
- Accurate handling of all legal tenders (cash, debit/credit, cheques, etc).
- Accurately processing rainchecks, coupons and special accounts.
- Offer carry-outs and parcel pick ups, where applicable.
- Stock candy racks and magazines, as required. Maintain clean appearance of these areas at all times.
- Ability to achieve expected performance standard.
- Proper use of telephone and intercoms.
- Represent our company in a professional manner at all times (team player).
- Understand and follow Company policies and procedures.
- Assist Customers with all concerns, questions or problems.
- Keep up-to-date on new products, weekly memos.

- Outgoing and friendly personality.
- Willingness to work with others and respond quickly to change.
- Good communication and listening skills.
- Effectively communicate with colleagues, supervisors and customers.
