Building Automation Controls Designer, Sr. (#266626)

We're currently seeking a Designer, Building Automation Controls - Building Technologies for a permanent position in Calgary, AB.

Main Duties:

-Create Electronic Job Folder with all required forms
-Prepare valve and damper schedule and size accordingly
-Create Air Flow Station schedule
-Layout power trunk and FLN
-Prepare Box schedules
-Provide all parameters to support Adapt statements
-Identify TEC operations and applications
-Experience with or knowledge of AutoCAD as-built drawings preferred
-Follow up on all design generated RFI's to assure complete design
-Perform a re-estimate prior to submittal
-Assemble and print submittals
-Prepare commissioning package


-Degree in electronics engineering technology or mechanical engineering technology
-Mechanical design experience but would consider applicants with either a strong design HVAC or controls background
-Working knowledge of AutoCAD mechanical and electrical systems
-2 - 4 years' experience preferred
-Knowledge of fan powered terminal air box technologies
-Experience or knowledge working with Room Pressurization Controllers (RPC's) and Lab Controller Modules (LCM's)P
-Excellent computer skills
-Strong written and communication skills
